Grace House Shift Volunteer
♡ SaveAbout this opportunity
Volunteers are an essential and vital part of Grace House! Our volunteers not only provide shift coverage, they also bring a positive connection to the local community and the world-at-large for our guests. Grace House would not exist without its dedicated community volunteers.
Volunteers are needed on site Monday through Sunday, 365 days a year.
Grace House currently seeks volunteers to fill the following shifts:
Morning Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Monday-Friday
Announce breakfast time, set the table, serve breakfast. Chat with guests if you'd like.
Overnight Shift: 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. Monday- Thursday
Interact with guests, announce bedtime/enforce bedtime rules, tend to guest needs that may arise throughout the shift. Generally volunteers are able to sleep through their entire shift, in the provided volunteer room with a bed.
Volunteers must pass a background check and participate in a volunteer shadow shift. Grace House allows as many shadow shifts prior to having a shift on their own.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Grace House, please take a moment and read through our Volunteer Guidelines. Then, fill out our Volunteer Application and either email it to our Volunteer Coordinator at jessica@gracehousemn.org, or mail it to us or drop it off in person. Feel free to call Grace House to ask any questions, or stop by to pick up an application.
