ReBUILD LA Application Workshop Support

Habitat LA's Programs team needs your help to support a ReBuild LA Application Assistance Workshop in the Pacific Palisades!
Why: Volunteers play a vital role in helping wildfire-impacted individuals access important resources by ensuring workshops run smoothly and attendees receive the support and information they need.
Who: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles seeks to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope, envisioning a world where every person has a decent place to live.
What to Expect:
Welcome attendees and direct them from the parking lot to the event location
Assist with participant check-in and registration
Distribute presentation materials and workshop handouts
Guide attendees to appropriate one-on-one assistance stations
Help maintain and restock the resource table with informational materials
Support event flow and ensure a positive experience for all attendees
What's Required:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workshop.
Comfortable working outdoors, including assisting attendees in parking lot and event entrance areas.
Ability to lift and carry light materials such as handouts, signage, and resource packets.
Friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with attendees.
Ability to provide directions and answer general questions.
Ability to follow event procedures and work collaboratively with staff and fellow volunteers.

Attire: Black shirt, comfortable pants/knee-length shorts, comfortable closed-toe shoes
