ReBUILD LA® Community Build Event Support

Help set the stage for an incredible Community Build experience!
Why: The Palisades fire burned more than 23,000 acres, destroyed nearly 7,000 structures, and left entire communities forever changed. Families continue to face rising construction costs, insurance gaps, financial uncertainty, and the overwhelming challenge of rebuidling their lives. This is a multi-day rebuilding and community revitalization event focused on helping wildfire survivors return home and begin rebuilding their lives.
Who: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles seeks to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope, envisioning a world where every person has a decent place to live.
What to Expect:
This listing is for multiple types of event support roles. If you are interested in volunteering, please click "Express Interest" and check the instructions in the confirmation email for more information about each role.
All Day/Morning/Afternoon Event Support: Help welcome guests, keep refreshments stocked, and assist with general event support throughout the day.
6:30am - 2:30pm; 6:30am - 12:00pm; 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Parking and Shuttle Support: Direct vehicles, assist with shuttle loading/unloading, and provide directions.
6:00am - 11:00am; 11:00am- 4:00pm
First Aid Support: Assist with basic first aid support for minor issues such as small cuts, scrapes, dehydration, or light discomfort. Must be CPR certified.
7:30am - 2:30pm
Event Breakdown: Pack up and clean up all areas of the event, leaving the site cleaner than we found it.
9:30am - 2:00pm (only on 9/26)
What's Required:
Special Skills Needed (if applicable): Willing to follow directions, lift at least 25 lbs., be adaptable, work well with others, understand English, or be with
