STEM and AI Curriculum Contributor

Play Like a Girl builds hands-on STEM and AI learning experiences for middle school girls through mentoring sessions, design challenges, and summer programming. The quality of those experiences depends on the quality of the curriculum behind them. We are looking for creative, knowledgeable contributors who can help us develop and source activities, lessons, and project frameworks that are rigorous, engaging, and designed specifically for girls.Develop or identify STEM and AI activities, lesson frameworks, and project-based learning experiences appropriate for middle school girls and aligned with our program focus areasEnsure submissions reflect current, real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, art, and math and connect to careers girls can actually pursueWrite clear, structured activity descriptions that a facilitator with varying levels of STEM background can follow and deliver confidentlyContribute to a growing curriculum library that directly shapes what girls experience inside our programs We are specifically looking for educators, curriculum designers, STEM professionals, or learning experience designers who bring both content knowledge and the ability to make that knowledge accessible and exciting for young girls. Strong writing skills are essential. Experience designing for middle school learners, project-based learning environments, or informal education settings is a significant plus. Creativity, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in how girls learn and engage with STEM are what set the best contributors apart. All work is done remotely at your own pace. Submissions can be made anytime throughout the week.
