Queens Public Library will be on-hand to meet and greet local residents and visitors; telling them about the fantastic programs and services offered by the library, free-of-charge!
Volunteers are needed to assist:
Manage activity tables and help manage activity areas
Distribute flyers, brochures, and pamphlets
Provide free giveaways to the public
Additional duties assigned as needed
SKILLS REQUIRED
16 years old and up
Outgoing personality; able to talk with others
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Minors (14-17)
Parental/Guardian Consent
DATE & TIME
Saturday, September 26
10am - 12pm
Volunteers to assist with indoor set-up and assist organizations in setting up their tables
2:30 - 4pm
Volunteers to assist with cleanup and table breakdown
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is an in-person opportunity. Minors must complete a parental consent form to volunteer for this project.
Deadline: You must register no later than 48 hours before a scheduled project date.
Minimum age: 16.
