Infinity Hospice Care is a family-owned agency. We provide dignified and compassionate care to persons and their families who are impacted by a life-limiting illness.Volunteers are at the HEART of what we do.Are you a veteran? We are a part of the We Honor Veterans program, and would love to talk to you about vet-to-vet volunteering.Do you have a special skill? We would love to talk to you! This includes hair stylists, massage therapists, music therapists, pet therapy, aromatherapy, reiki, and other abilities. In addition, there are many other ways our volunteers can serve:Provide patient companionship and friendly visitingAssist our patient caregivers by offering respite relief for a couple hours a weekProvide homemaker assistance by doing small choresOffer 11th hour support for patients who are in transitionProvide office clerical support in our Reno office (great for mature high school students)We are looking for volunteers all over Northern Nevada.Our agency provides free volunteer training to prepare you as a Volunteer for the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life and receive more in return than you give. We cover the fees for your background check, drug test, TB screening, and Flu shot (if you don't have a medical insurance card).If you are interested in helping people at the end of life, please contact us.
