Memory Bear Craft Volunteers Needed! (Ripon, CA)

Got sewing skills? Suncrest Hospice is looking for compassionate and warm-hearted volunteers with the ability to sew our patients their very own Memory Bears. As a volunteer, you will create keepsakes, like teddy bears, for our families, by using a clothing article that belongs to the dedicated patient. Become part of the Suncrest community and help families reminisce with an irreplaceable keepsake.The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team including a nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain, and volunteer, we help the patient and family walk through their journey.Suncrest Hospice is looking for volunteers to join the Suncrest Team as we provide excellent care and support to our hospice patients and their families in their homes! All of our volunteers are trained to provide companionship, but we are looking for volunteers who are willing to become Death Doulas to families and the entire Suncrest Community.
