Join Food Stand in a Park by filling out our volunteer form at foodstandinapark.org. You can set up your own stand—just like a lemonade stand—at a local park or safe spot near your home. Collect extra, safe-to-eat food from friends and neighbors, and we’ll help you donate it to places that serve those in need. Each stand helps fight hunger in our community. You can decorate it, name it, and make it your own—because helping others should be fun. Parents are welcome too—this is a great project for families to do together!
About Food Stand in a Park
Food Stand in a Park is a student-led nonprofit committed to fighting food insecurity in our local communities. We collect donated food from neighbors, schools, and community partners, then deliver it directly to local soup kitchens and shelters. What began as a school project has grown into a movement driven by compassion, youth leadership, and a belief that everyone deserves access to a meal. We serve with purpose, act with integrity, and strive to create a culture of giving—one food stand at a time.
