Groundskeeper and General Maintenance

Volunteers play a significant role in maintaining the museum. At Cross Orchards Historic Site, you’ll work with the Curator and our current volunteer force to maintain the historic buildings, victory garden, and general grounds. Examples of some projects include painting, watering plants, pulling weeds, maintaining vehicles, or staffing special events. There are more advanced projects available to volunteers who have prior experience as a mechanic, electrician, carpenter, etc.
A volunteer who values communication and teamwork is a must. To support your local museum is to support the preservation of history and culture in our community.
