Intermountain Health/St. Mary's Regional Hospital volunteers provide retail customer service in the Gift Shop to patients, visitors and staff.Assigned Duties:Welcome and assist customers in selection of gift shop items.Operates cash register and credit card machine for all sales.Answers the phone and completes phone orders for merchandise.Follow procedures for opening and closing the Gift Shop.Dust and restock shelves and maintain the cleanliness of the shop.Observe for potential shoplifters.Completes daily and weekly assigned tasks such as watering plants and checking- in floral arrangements.Merchandise and inventory processing.Display reconfiguration and design.Requirements:Must pass criminal background check and complete hospital health screening.Complete hospital orientation and position training.Maintain patient confidentiality.Be courteous and respectful toward patients, visitiors, staff and volunteers.Represent the hospital core values and mission.Able to work without supervision.Able to adapt to a changing environment.Ability to speak pleasantly on the phone.Customer service experience.Ability to work with team members.Ability to follow directions.Other Skills:Retail experience and cashier experience helpful.Physical Requirements:Sitting: 20%Standing: 65%Walking: 10%Bending: 5%Lifting: Up to 10lbs. occasionallyDays & Times Available:Monday-Friday: 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, 5pm-7pmSaturday and Sunday: varies times available3 shifts available:09:00 to 13:00 MST13:00 to 05:00 MST17:00 to 19:00 MST
