Medicare Counselor

High Country Volunteers is looking for more volunteers to serve as Medicare Counselors. You will help people sign up for Medicare, select plans and identify assistance programs seniors might be eligible for.
Volunteer on your own schedule helping 2-3 clients p/month and aproximately 4 clients p/week during Medicare Open Enrollment (October 15 - December 7) or as your schedule allows. You will complete online certificaion training through Colorado SHIP (State Health Insurance Assistance Program) and shadow a seasoned volunteer before counseling clients on your own.
