Environmental Education Forum and Hammock Restoration with EEL

For “Science and Peace Day” this year, the EEL Program is hosting an environmental education forum with non-profit and partner organizations! Walk around the forum, engage with partner organizations, and learn about all the amazing groups working to protect Miami’s ecosystems. Afterwards, we will remove invasive species and plant native hammock species. Thank you for partnering with us to protect this precious natural resource.
About Environmentally Endangered Lands Program (EEL)
The Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) Program is a Miami-Dade County program tasked with the responsibility to acquire, preserve, enhance, restore, conserve and maintain environmentally endangered lands for this and future generations.Join us at our volunteer events to explore pockets of nature in Miami, learn about our unique South Florida habitats, and help us restore these threatened ecosystems. In an urban landscape with so much development, volunteer with us to be stewards of the remaining, precious natural areas in Miami.
