About this opportunity

Join us for our drive-thru community food distribution day, serving families in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. Volunteers are needed to assist with packaging and loading food into the cars to ensure quick service.

Volunteer criteria:
Able to lift & carry up to 40 lbs
Able to stand for long periods.
NOT have been exposed to or had any Communicable diseases (ie. the Flu (Influenza), COVID-19, Measles, Chickenpox, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis (TB), Hepatitis, STIs (like Chlamydia, Gonorrhea), Strep Throat, and foodborne illnesses like Salmonella.) within the past 14 days
NOT exhibiting any flu-like or cold symptoms: fever, cough, sneezing, loss of sense of smell, fatigue, etc.
Closed-toe shoes are required for safety! Please wear long pants or jeans, a T-shirt (no strapless shirts), and sneakers are preferred. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early for a brief orientation about the volunteer opportunity from the Project Leader and to sign in.

Minimum age: 18.
