Help at our Holiday Concert Saturday, Dec. 6 (please sign up at least 3 days before the event)

Each year, West Tuality Habitat for Humanity hosts a free holiday concert at the Forest Grove United Church of Christ. It happens in the early evening and ends before the city's annual holiday light parade. It is a tradition for many to come to our concert first and then walk out to enjoy the light parade.We need volunteers to help greet people as they arrive at the concert, help them find seats (in 2023, by the time the concert started, it was standing room only!), and help prepare and serve the light snacks we provide in the fellowship hall at the church after the short concert. Volunteers will also direct people to the information table if they have questions about Habitat for Humanity, so our trained staff can answer such. We would also love a volunteer that could take photos of the event.These volunteering activities require walking up some stairs, standing and some bending. Volunteer go through a brief onsite safety training and must follow the Habitat for Humanity Code of Conduct, which is available on our web site and on the waiver that all volunteers must sign before volunteering. During service, volunteers are representatives of Habitat for Humanity and our mission. Please note that we cannot provide childcare and volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Other restrictions may apply.
