Senior Friendship Centers is looking for a volunteer to assist our staff with varied administrative and event related tasks at our Arcadia location. Join a great team and support local seniors in your community!Schedule: Flexible schedule on a Monday through FridayLocation: 917 N Arcadia Ave., Arcadia, FL 34266Reports To: Senior Service Manager - Desoto CountyDuties:* Make copies, file, scan, staple, sort, help with data entry, and general office tasks* Help with planning and preparing for our signature "Trunk or Treat" Halloween event* Make calls and inquiries to local businesses for event sponsorship* Contact and follow up with event vendors and sponsors as needed* Help on-site during Trunk or Treat on October 31stRequirements:* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with seniors* Basic computer, phone, and office skills* Able to reliably commit to position schedule as needed* Ability to interact professionally with all staff, clients, volunteers, and community partners* Friendly, flexible, able to handle challenges, and able to work with limited supervision* Must possess cultural awareness and sensitivity for all individuals and groups* Successfully pass a Level II fingerprint-based background screeningApply Today!* If you are interested, you can complete our online application here: https://www.volgistics.com/appform/1427629706* Or visit our website at FrienshipCenters.org - click on Support and then on Volunteer
