Senior Friendship Centers is seeking volunteer bands that play 60s and 70s music on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for our Activity Centers to provide musical entertainment to seniors. SCHEDULE: Tuesday and Wednesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.LOCATION: Senior Friendship Center at 1888 Brother Geenen Way, Sarasota, FL 34236SUPERVISOR: Senior Center ManagerREPORTS TO: Senior Center ManagerDUTIES:·Deliver engaging and interactive music, encouraging participation and fostering a positive environment. Engage with seniors to build rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere.·Encourage socialization and participation among seniors. Listen to feedback from participants to continuously improve the activities and address any concerns.REQUIREMENTS:Have a genuine interest in enhancing the lives of seniors.Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate older adults. Be friendly, patient, flexible, able to handle change, and ability to work as part of a team.Ability to perform light physical tasks, such as setting up equipment if necessary.Ability to interact professionally with all staff, clients, volunteers, and community partners.Must possess cultural awareness and sensitivity for all individuals and groups.TRAINING: * Volunteer orientation will be provided.
