We are seeking a skilled and passionate Grant Writer volunteer to support our mission by identifying funding opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to helpsustain and expand out programs.Key Responsibilities: Research grant opportunities from private, corporate, and public sources that align with our mission and programsWrite and submit clear, persuasive, and well-organized grant proposals and Letters of Intent.Collaborate with program staff and leadership to gather information needed for proposals and reports. Track applicaion deadlines, submission dates, and reporting requirements using a grants calendar. Maintain organized records of grant submissions, funder communications, and proposal templates.Prepare and submit interim and final grant reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.Bulid and maintain relations with new and existing funders, supporting occasional cultivation and stewardship activites. Assist in evaluating funding strategies and outcomes to improve future submissions. Support grant budgeting and project planning in coordination with finance and program teams.

According to the Florida Department of Education, only 47% are ready for kindergarten. More than 20 centers have closed since the pandemic. Only 17% of early learning centers in Southwest Florida are 4/5 star or accredited. Fun Time Early Childhood Academy is both.We provide safe, quality, affordable education and care for children and parents from low-income working families and prepare children for kindergarten, ready to read and ready to learn.We believe every child deserves access to high-quality education and care, regardless of their family's income. That's why we offer affordable and accessible early childhood education programs for working families with limited financial resources.
