Be a Community Hero, Be a VITA Volunteer!

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $66,000 or less a year. Volunteer greeters, translators, tax-preparers, site-coordinators, and reviewers are needed each year during tax season from late January through mid-April (and year-round at a few sites). No experience is needed and free training is provided online at your own pace with several in-person training sessions for new volunteers and those wanting more practice. In-person training usually begins mid-November. This program has had an amazing impact on our community and the lives of thousands of people each year-come join our team, we have locations all over SW Florida!
