We are looking for assistance with coverage for the Packer Rattler concession stand at OMRC for home games?We are looking for as many volunteers as possible, working the Concession Stand for the Packer Rattlers.What date(s) are you looking for support?August 23 rd, September 20 th and September 27 thYou are welcome to commit to the first half of the day, (8:30 AM - 1:30 PM), second half of the day (1:30 PM to 6:30 PM) or the full day (8:30 AM to 6:30 PM)- Please note which shift you would be able to cover.Open: 9 AMClosed: 6 PMImportant Elements: Standing most of the shift and warm temps.
About Braithwaite Center for Active Aging
Since 1925, the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Deerfield Beach has been vital to the lifeblood of the community. Today the parks system carries on the tradition through 266 developed acres at 30 sites. In 2003, Glatting Jackson developed a 25-year Parks and Recreation System Master Plan. The goal of the Master Plan is to assist the city in expanding and revitalizing our parks and recreation system to meet the needs and desires of its growing population. The city has begun capital improvement projects throughout our parks system with funding coming from various grants and bond dollars.The recreation amenities we have available throughout the city include an aquatics center,athletic fields,gymnasium, outdoor basketball courts, tennis center and tot lots. The department also oversees the Blue Wave award winning beach, neighborhood parks, nature preserves and cemeteries. In addition, a wide variety of recreational, social and cultural programs are available at our community centers.
