2026 Step Out Walk: South Florida

The American Diabetes Association is excited to host our Step Out Walk on Saturday, September 19, at Nova Southeastern University.
More than 1,500 friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers will come together for a morning of exercise, healthy living, music, food, and fun, all while supporting the fight against diabetes. This signature fundraising event aims to raise $200,000 to support critical diabetes research, education, and advocacy programs.
This is a great opportunity for students seeking community service hours or anyone looking to make a meaningful impact in their community. We have a variety of volunteer roles and shifts available between 6:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
