Membership Committee members will strive to retain and increase Chapter membership, develop membership resources, maintain the member database, and create a welcoming environment for all.Responsibilities of the committee may include:Maintain current roster of Pilchuck Audubon Society Chapter membersMaintain current roster of National Audubon Society members within Snohomish County and Camano IslandAssist with entering information into the membership databaseWelcome all new members and thank all renewing membersCorrespond with the public and/or members regarding membership status, questions, or issuesAssist with writing membership letters (thank you letters, expired membership letters)Identify opportunities to increase chapter membershipHelp develop membership resources (i.e., review/update membership benefits, membership welcome and onboarding process, outreach materials)Qualifications:Previous database experience (preferred but not required)Passion for the mission of Pilchuck Audubon and a dedicated interest in keeping common birds common and rare birds protectedExcellent organizational skillsFriendly, welcoming, and inclusive disposition

Pilchuck Audubon Society (PAS) is a grass-roots environmental organization with members throughout Snohomish County and Camano Island, Washington.Our mission is to conserve and restore natural ecosystems focusing on birds and other wildlife for the benefit of the earth’s biological diversity. Education, advocacy, community activism, and community science are the major avenues we will use to achieve our goal to protect and enhance the natural environment in Snohomish County, Camano Island and the State of Washington.We serve as a local chapter of the National Audubon Society. PAS is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Washington.
