Corgi's Against Alzheimer's Event Committee

Do you love dogs? More specifically do you love CORI'S? If you answered yes then this volunteer opportunity might be a paw-sibility!The Alzheimer's Association Washington State Chapter is looking for volunteers to join our planning team for the upcoming 2024 Corgi Races as part of the Longest Day Signature Activity. As a Volunteer Committee member you will play a vital role in helping us identify, cultivate and promote interest in this great event - a day we ask people to do something they love and fundraise in honor of someone they love and have lost to Alzheimer's disease. If you have a love for dogs and a desire to make a paw-sitive impact, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a worthy cause. Corgi's Against Alzheimer's was started in 2023 in partnership with Logic20/20 Consulting and Emerald Downs. We had a team of 6 corgis that fundraised for 2 months while also brining awareness to the cause on race day. This year we are looking to make this event even bigger with additional dogs and larger fundraising goals.We are looking to have the committee formed by November 2023 to allow ample planning time for the event in July 2024.
