Position Details Youth Coach: We have coaching opportunities in: Winter - select basketball; Spring/Summer -baseball (coed), track; Fall -soccer, girls volleyball, and flag football. Primary Duties Plan and supervise games, practices, and eventsInform players/parents about practices, cancellations, and make-upsSupervise assistant coaches, team managers, scorekeepers, or team parentsTeach the young athlete the fundamentals of the sportEncourage the involvement of the parents in the sportSchedule and conduct parent and other necessary meetingsProvide a safe and fun environment for the childrenLearn and follow ALL league rules, policies, and proceduresGive each player required playing timePut the well being of players ahead of your desire to winAttend all league meetings, classes, tryouts, and functions Additional Information COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSIONTeam Auburn values diverse perspectives and life experiences and welcomes applications from people who will help us consistently demonstrate the values of equity, respect, and partnership.
