DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:Facilitate one Talk Time session once a week for 2 hours.Prepare a lesson plan for each session.Collaborate and cooperate as a team with other volunteers.Provide a safe and respectful environment that promotes learning and sharing.Be aware of resources available for English Language Learners in your library and communityQUALIFICATIONS:18 years or olderWashington State residentPerson fluent or proficient in English.Experience or interest in working with multicultural groups.Comfortable communicating with limited English speakers.Open to other ideas and opinions; willing to learn from others.REQUIREMENTS:Application FormWA state background checkVolunteer Agreement FormInterview/Class Observation/OrientationTraining (provided by KCLS)
