Our mission is to help low-income seniors and adults with disabilities maintain peace of mind, independence, and protection against fraud and financial exploitation. As a volunteer in the Oregon Money Management Program, you will assist individuals in their own home with budgeting, organizing financial paperwork, sorting mail and filling out applications.Our Volunteers enjoy a lot of flexibility! In as little as 2 hours per month, a volunteer can make a difference in the life of a vulnerable adult. NorthWest Senior & Disability ServicesNorthWest Senior & Disability Services (NWSDS) is a local intergovernmental agency that was created in 1982. Designated as the Area Agency on Aging for Clatsop, Marion, Polk, Tillamook and Yamhill Counties. NWSDS is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and arranging services for seniors and people with disabilities in these five counties.Funds for the operation of NWSDS and its programs come from the federal and state government, as well as from community groups and individual donations.
