At Monarch, our volunteers provide comfort and companionship to patients and their loved ones, ensuring that no one journeys through end-of-life alone.Join UsBy volunteering as an End-of-Life Doula, you will play a vital role in providing comfort and dignity to individuals and families during one of life's most profound experiences. Your presence can make a meaningful difference.Role Overview:As an End-of-Life Doula Volunteer you will:Provide emotional, spiritual, and psychological support to patients and their familiesOffer companionship and a calming presence during the end-of-life journeyAssist in creating meaningful legacy projects, such as memory books or lettersSupport families in planning and facilitating the final days, including rituals and goodbyesProvide respite care for caregiversOffer guidance on post-death arrangements and grief supportNote: This role does not involve medical care or Spiritual counseling. Volunteers are trained to provide non-judgmental, supportive presence.Qualifications:Completion of End-of-Life Doula Training (or willingness to complete the training)Comfort and composure in the presence of death.Strong listening and Communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect diverse backgroundsTraining & Support:Comprehensive training in end-of-life careOpportunities for personal growth and professional development
