KroctoberFest Set-Up Team Member

The Set-Up Team plays a key role in preparing for the Kroc Center’s KroctoberFest Trunk-or-Treat, a safe and family-friendly event for all ages. Volunteers will work alongside staff to help transform the outdoor space into a festive and welcoming environment for the community.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:⦁ Assist staff with setting up tables, chairs, and cones to define activity and booth areas⦁ Help decorate department booths and event spaces under staff guidance⦁ Carry, arrange, and organize event supplies and materials⦁ Provide general support to staff in preparing activities for the event⦁ Ensure the set-up process contributes to a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment⦁ Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while working as a teamQualifications:⦁ Ages 13 and up (volunteers under 18 require parent/guardian consent)⦁ Able to lift, carry, and move event items (tables, chairs, supplies, decorations)⦁ Comfortable working outdoors and standing/walking for the duration of the shift⦁ Weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended⦁ Willing to follow staff direction and work as part of a teamSchedule & Time Commitment:⦁ Date: Friday, October 31, 2025⦁ Time: 3:30 - 5:30 PM⦁ Commitment: One-time event, 2-hour shiftBenefits of Volunteering:⦁ Be part of creating a safe and fun holiday experience for the community⦁ Gain hands-on event support and teamwork experience⦁ Earn community service/volunteer hours⦁ Enjoy a festive and meaningful way to serve with The Salvation ArmyPrivate Group Details:Group Size Range: 1 - 5Event can be held at organization location(s)No Donation
