Music Therapy Volunteers Needed (Pinole)

Have a love for music? We are looking for musicians to share their loving tunes to hospice patients and their families. By providing them with beautiful moments of music, you can help create high levels of comfort, tranquility and much more! By bringing on your musical talents and gifts onto the Suncrest team, you will bring a wide array of benefits and meet our patient’s emotional and spiritual needs!The philosophy of hospice care is to provide comfort and the highest quality of life that one can achieve at the end of life. Through an interdisciplinary team including a nurse, nurse assistant, social worker, chaplain, and volunteer, we help the patient and family walk through their journey.Volunteers are essential members of the patient’s hospice care team. Volunteers are trained to listen, care, and provide companionship for our patients during this important time in their lives. Through careful screening and orientation, our volunteers understand the hospice philosophy to provide as much comfort and quality of life to our patients as possible. All of our volunteers are trained to provide companionship, but we are especially looking for volunteers who are willing to share their love and talent for photography to our patients.In the Bay Area, Suncrest Hospice serves families in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano counties and serves both patients in hospice facilities and in their own homes.We are especially looking for volunteers willing to serve patients and families in and around Pinole.All Suncrest Hospice volunteers are required to complete a background check and TB and drug testing at no charge to you.Please contact our staff at 408-900-8838Watch our video to learn more: Suncrest Hospice
