Join PIDO’s BoardSep 25Do you love taking your pup(s) to Point Isabel Regional Shoreline ? Are you ready, willing, and able to take a leadership role in keeping the park off-leash? Have you been a member of Point Isabel Dog Owners (PIDO) for a year or more? If so, please consider applying to join the PIDO Board and help sustain our 40-year legacy.PIDO has been continuously advocating for off-leash privileges at Point Isabel since 1985. Since PIDO became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2000, our all-volunteer Executive Board of Directors has been led by a handful of dedicated individuals. After years of service, some are ready to pass the baton to the next generation of PIDO leaders.The time commitment for PIDO board members is flexible. We meet 10 times a year for up to two hours. Members also actively participate in Events (Off-Leash Skills, Barktoberfest, Canine Good Citizen Testing, monthly Clean Ups) and administration (finance, strategic planning, membership management, communication, volunteer coordination, etc.)If you’re interested in giving back to PIDO - the organization that’s made so many hours of fun for you and your pup(s) possible - please email info@pido.org with BOARD in subject line.
