Shop and Make Baby Mealtime Gift BagsAny one of any age, any time, any where can volunteer to shop and make Baby Mealtime Gift Bags.Baby Gift Bags filled with essential infant items help families who are going home for the first time with their newborn feel more prepared after many uncertain weeks/months in the hospital.We welcome you to make and donate as many bags as you choose. Thank you for volunteering!STEP 1: Shop and fill each clear cellophane bag with these essential baby items:1 set of baby bowls.1 set of baby utensils.1 sippy cup (3 -6 months).2 baby bottles (Dr. Brown’s preferred).Shop all items for a boy, or a girl, or gender neutral.STEP 2: (Optional)Include a handwritten, decorated, There With Care printed note card in each bag.Please ask for supplies of printed note cards.On the note card, write the name of your family, corporation/business, school or faith/community group.Write one phrase: Hello sweet pea! OR Honey is sweet. A baby is sweeter! Decorate with colorful designs.Write your first name, age (minors only) and city.STEP 3:Place items neatly in the bag with the front of all items facing the same direction.Please ask for supplies of clear cellophane bags.Place the note card inside the bag behind the items with the front of the note card facing out.Use ribbon to tie the top of the bag and make a bow with strings.PICK UP SUPPLIES/DROP OFF COMPLETED BAGS:There With Care's office is located at the Sobrato Center for Nonprofits, There With Care, 330 Twin Dolphin Drive, Suite 135, Redwood City , CA 94065. About There With Care of the Bay Area
The Bay Area Chapter was created in 2011, seven years after the founding chapter opened in Colorado. There With Care receives referrals from medical social workers at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Mission Bay, San Francisco.
