Would you like to make a difference in the lives of older people in our community ? Help them to age gracefully and joyfully while living on their own ?You have come to the right place. Villages of San Mateo County is a volunteer run-non profit organization that helps older members age gracefully by connecting them socially, and providing services that enable them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.We organize events where our members connect, we also have our volunteers make friendly visits or phone calls to seniors. We also provide services like rides to appointments, basic handyman services, help with grocery shopping, errands, pet care, gardening etc.We provide the help that a neighbor or friend would provide.To run a village -- it takes a village.
