Pantry Organization at Safe House for Survivors: Impacting Lives

Join us in supporting survivors of domestic violence by helping organize and maintain a food and hygiene pantry at one of CORA’s Safe Houses in San Mateo County! This volunteer opportunity offers a meaningful way to support survivors who recently fled to escape dangerous situations and now live safely at CORA as they rebuild their lives.As a Pantry Organization Volunteer, you’ll help create a clean, organized, and welcoming space where clients can easily access nutritious food and essential personal care items. Tasks include sorting and stocking donations, tracking inventory, and assisting with regular food pickups from our local partners.Your time and care ensure that survivors have consistent access to the basics they need as they rebuid their lives.Our clients feel cared for when they see community members, who they don’t even personally know, working behind the scenes to meet their daily needs so they can be strong and focus on healing. Your time and effort will send a powerful message: they are not alone, and our community members, like you, are with them in their healing and recovery.This position requires a volunteer who is available on Wednesdays 11am-1pm and Fridays 9am-12pm.
