About this opportunity

Samaritan House provides daily hot meals to our clients who wouldn't otherwise have access to cooked food. This opportunity would entail picking up the warm meals from our Samaritan House kitchen and delivering them to the one of the several routes we have based within the San Mateo and Foster City area. Each route has a different amount of stops ranging from 7 to 19. The food pick-up time would depend on the route you would be supporting with but it is generally between 2:00pm - 3:30pm. There are routes that are in need of ongoing, weekly support but if that does not work with your availability we would be happy to add you to our sub list.

About Samaritan House San Mateo

As one of San Mateo’s leading nonprofits, we are the largest food distribution agency in the county and are recognized as a role model in the community. Our free service offerings include shelter and housing assistance; medical and dental clinics; clothes for children; personalized case management and much more. Each year, we provide services and resources to more than 25,000 low-income and homeless San Mateo County residents in need, including families with children, seniors and individuals living with a disability, veterans and homeless adults.
