Volunteer Opportunity: Laser Dandiya Night 2025CultureX Foundation is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help make our Laser Dandiya Night with Hetal Brahmbhatt an unforgettable community celebration at Foothill High School in Pleasanton on September 20, 2025.Event OverviewJoin our team in organizing a high-energy Dandiya Night featuring live performance by Swaranjali Band, spectacular laser light show, and traditional dance celebration. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cultural preservation while gaining event management experience.Volunteer Roles & ResponsibilitiesEvent Setup & Logistics (4-6 volunteers needed)Arrive at 4:00 PM for venue setup and decorationAssist with stage setup, sound system coordination, and laser equipment positioningArrange seating, kids area setup, and vendor booth preparationHelp with parking guidance and signage placementRegistration & Ticketing (3-4 volunteers needed)Manage check-in desk using Zeffy platform integrationVerify tickets, handle on-site registrations, and process group bookingsDistribute event materials and answer attendee questionsAssist with Dandiya sales coordinationKids Area Supervision (2-3 volunteers needed)Supervise children's activities and ensure safety in designated kids zoneOrganize age-appropriate games and activities during the eventCoordinate with parents and maintain engaging environment for children under 7Event Coordination & Support (3-4 volunteers needed)Assist with crowd management and venue flowCoordinate with sponsors (Ameriprise Financial, Mantra India, Chaat Bhavan, King Studios, Spundhann)Support technical crew during laser show and band performanceHandle general attendee assistance and event logisticsQualifications & RequirementsEnthusiasm for Indian culture and community eventsReliable
