Million Little brings creative programming to youth throughout LA County and we need your help! We're seeking volunteers to commit to a weekly shift of ~3 hours for at least 3 months to help us keep our programs running smoothly. Responsibilities may include:Creating art samples for new projectsCutting out, laminating, photocopying, and otherwise prepping materials for art projectsEmptying trash, breaking down boxes for recyclingCleaning art supplies such as paint brushes, stencils, etcSorting beadsCleaning kitchen area and vacuuming floorsMaking clay and resin pendants from silicone molds (training provided)Cleaning airbrush equipmentProducing youth t-shirt designs using Cricut and heat pressOrganizing shelves in supply roomsManaging occasional loads of laundry at local laundromatThis role is great for individuals or a couple of friends who want to earn service hours by giving back to the community together.*Must be 16+ years old without a guardianPlease submit an application here: https://cm2millionlittle.neworg.com/Default.asp?PageNum=93We can't wait to hear from you!Private Group Details:Group Size Range: 1 - 10Event can be held at organization location(s)No Donation
About Million Little
We recruit throughout the year to support in our office and at our community events. Office volunteers support our staff and programs by helping prep materials and art samples, cleaning/organizing supplies and our office space, and assembling art-based giveaways for youth. Event volunteers support logistically and sometimes co-facilitate community events including painting pop-ups for families, jewelry-making booths at community markets, music/fashion workshops, etc.
