We are in need of volunteers to help with reaching out to businesses for gift cards or certificates, auction items, hotel or getaway packages, etc. I do have a list of places we request from every year and of course you can outreach to anyone. This is such an important facet of our silent and live auctions. I will be happy to assist and train those who are interested in helping the Sisters mission. About MARY HEALTH OF THE SICK CONVALESCENT & NURSING HOSPITAL IN
Located in Newbury Park, California, Mary Health of the Sick is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility. It is owned and operated by the Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick, a Catholic congregation of women religious who dedicate their lives to providing loving, compassionate nursing care to people of all faiths. The Sisters, who live on the premises of the hospital, founded and opened its doors on June 20, 1964. The hospital has served the needs of over 4,000 men and women of all faiths since its inception. The Sisters’ ministry is an extension of Christ’s mission of bringing hope to the suffering, healing to the sick, and comfort to the dying. Their sacred aspiration is to accompany the frail elderly and terminally ill, along with their families, on life’s final transition.
