COA operates 7 Neighborhood Dining Sites throughout Volusia County to provide nutritious meals and critical social interaction for local seniors who are able to drive or take public transportation. We are in need of volunteers working 2-3 hours shifts Monday - Friday to help bag up the meals for our Meals on Wheels clients, serve meals and clean up afterward at our Deltona site for our congregate dining clients.1 shift available:Monday through Friday: 09:00 to 13:00 EST
About Council On Aging of Volusia County
The Council On Aging of Volusia County is a private not-for-profit agency providing services to promote the health, safety and productivity of all residents of Volusia County, Florida. Its clients are primarily, but not limited to, those citizens over the age of 60 and their families. The individual programs of the Council On Aging are directed to the twin goals of personal self-sufficiency and independent living.
