Project Send It Cascadia Volunteer Board PositionAbout: Project Send It is a volunteer-run 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to breaking down the barriers to climbing and making the sport accessible to all kids. We provide resources to families looking for healthy activities for kids, including fi nancial assistance for climbing programs. The Cascadia Chapter is based in NW Oregon and SW Washington.Position Overview:The Cascadia Board Members work together to carry out all activities of the Cascadia Chapter of Project Send It, including but not limited to:Running the Sendership programBuilding and maintaining relationships with local climbing gyms and youth organizationsSpreading the word about our program, including tabling at local community fairs and designing and distributing marketing materialsSecuring funding for the chapterBoard members distribute the workload depending on time availability and individual expertise. Ideal candidates will be passionate about PSI’s mission and will bring creativity and dedication to the role.Required Competencies:Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and foster a cooperative environment.Creativity: Innovative thinking to generate new and effective ideas.Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Adaptability: Openness to learning and adapting to new challenges and opportunities.This is an unpaid volunteer position; the estimated time commitment is 6-10 hours per month.Interested candidates should submit a resume and a brief description of their relevant experience and interest in the position.
