Program Area: Communications and DevelopmentLocation: Event-based; schedule and locations TBDPosition Summary: Are you interested in gaining photography experience while supporting and uplifting one of the most diverse nonprofit organizations in the Pacific Northwest? Volunteering as a photographer with IRCO is the place for you. With over 200 programs, IRCO always has events and activities our staff would love to capture through your lens! We are seeking volunteer photographers with an eye on equity and diversity, who are self-motivated and energized to support our photography needs.ResponsibilitiesSign Artist Agreement and complete background checkCollect photos at events and other IRCO photo requests for IRCO usage o Ideal photos to be taken are photos of families or clients looking directly at the camera, rather than action shotsWork with Volunteer Coordinator and Event Coordinator at IRCO events to ensure clients have photo releasesDeliver photos to Communications Development Associate Qualifications:Must have professional-quality camera and understand how to use said cameraLittle professional experience needed • Experience working with immigrant and refugee populations preferred • Multilingual experience/knowledge preferred Age Requirement: 18 and overContact: volunteer@irco.org
