Volunteer OpportunityThe Cupcake Girls is always seeking committed, passionate individuals (18+) to join our Portland and National teams. We offer a wide variety of volunteer positions to match diverse interests.Team members are asked to commit to five hours per month of volunteering (Advocates commit to five hours per week). We have both in-person and remote teams. During orientation, volunteers will choose the specific team they would like to join. If you choose an in-person role, please ensure you are located in Portland, Oregon, or able to travel.If you are located outside of Portland, Oregon, we offer National opportunities that are fully remote.To apply, please complete our volunteer application here: https://www.thecupcakegirls.org/volunteer.If you would like to join the Advocate team, please note volunteers will need to complete a $17 background check (assistance is available if needed).Team DescriptionsOperationsNetworking (In-Person Only) - Engage with the community, represent The Cupcake Girls at events, help recruit volunteers, and assist with tabling.Partner Engagement (Remote with Optional In-Person Quarterly) - Build and maintain relationships with our Partners who provide pro bono or discounted services, goods, and support to our Participants.Events (In-Person Only) - Assist with planning and executing various events throughout the year.Office Support (In-Person Only) - Manage office tasks, including ordering and organizing supplies, cleaning, sourcing donated goods for raffles and gifts, and sending donation letters.Volunteer Care (Remote or In-Person) - Support volunteers through onboarding, event organization, and celebrating milestones like birthdays and anniversaries.Hospitality (In-Person Only) - Bake cupcakes, assist with catering for events, and
