About this opportunity

Do you want to help low-income families get out of poverty? You can by volunteering with MFS CASH Oregon!By providing free tax preparation and supporting free tax sites throughout the Portland Metro area, our IRS-certified volunteers help thousands of low-income families and individuals access important tax credits and keep more of the income they earn.Not a tax expert? No problem! There are volunteer roles for all interests, plus MFS CASH Oregon provides training and ongoing support. To be a great volunteer, you just need to be:Compassionate and friendlyComfortable working with a diverse group of clientsWilling to ask questionsWilling to learn new skillsFlexible schedule, multiple tax sites to choose from. 4 hours/week commitment during tax season (late January - mid April).Sign up to make a difference today at www.cashoregon.org
