The Dougy Center is looking for volunteers to work as facilitators in our peer support groups for children, teens, young adults, and adults who have experienced a significant death. As a volunteer you'll be part of a supportive facilitator team and work one-on-one and in a group setting with our participants.
About Dougy Center
The Dougy Center was the first program in the country to provide peer support groups for children, teens, and young adults who have experienced a significant death. We serve children 3-18 as well as their family members. While in a group, participants have the opportunity to talk about the death and utilize our creative expression rooms (art, dress up, big energy, and volcano). We currently have groups in both English and Spanish. Through out National Training Center we've helped to start hundreds of similar programs across the world.
