CHAPlandia is our biggest fundraiser of the year and it's more than just a party, it’s the heart of our fundraising efforts, supporting thousands of healing art experiences for children and families facing medical and mental health challenges.CHAP is seeking an experienced emcee who can generously donate a few hours of their time to support our event. The role includes making several key announcements and using their energy and talent to engage the audience during the paddle raise portion of the evening. About Children's Healing Art Project
Since 2006, CHAP has provided over 100,000 healing art experiences across the Portland area. Your support enables us to continue offering these vital programs, including:CHAP Hospital Programs, where pediatric patients and families enjoy weekly creative outlets during inpatient stays and clinic visits.CHAP Art Club, brings art-making experiences to children with medical challenges outside the hospital setting, offering ongoing opportunities to create in our CHAP studio.CHAP in a Box, delivers themed art kits directly to the homes of children and siblings living outside the Portland area, complete with quality art supplies like paints, brushes, modeling clay, and more.
