Front Desk Administrative Assistant at the Portland Red Cross (age 17+) Referral

Are you a welcoming, well-organized, and enthusiastic person who is interested in a front desk volunteer opportunity?
Front Desk Administrative Assistants are the welcoming faces of the Portland Red Cross office. Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate individual or department, while ensuring that the visitor's log is accurately maintained. Assist with various projects as requested.
You'll need to meet these important qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Follows policies and procedures
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
Maintains confidentiality; works with integrity and ensures American Red Cross ethical standards are followed
Time Commitment:
1+ shift a month, with shifts being 4.5 hours in length
2 shifts a day are available, 7 days a week:
8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
12:30 PM to 5:00 PM
Opportunity Requirements:
Background check
Volunteers must be 17 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 requires parental consent
