Each year, hundreds of volunteers help OPB fulfill its mission of connecting people across Oregon and the Pacific Northwest through the power of a shared story.

Join OPB’s phone bank! If you are friendly and comfortable talking on the phone, we’d love to have you on our volunteer team.
Throughout the year, we have opportunities to support the thousands of OPB members who prefer to connect with us on the phone.
OPB TV Drives (inbound calls) – Answer phones and assist callers wishing to make contributions, connecting with community members while helping OPB meet its fundraising goals. (Currently, volunteers do not appear on camera. We are answering phones behind-the-scenes during prerecorded fundraising programs.)
OPB Thank a Member Week (outbound calls) – Makes calls to members to thank them for their support. There are no fundraising asks. Just an opportunity to say "thank you" to OPB’s wonderful members!
We have drives and member weeks through the year with shifts available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Upcoming dates are announced in our email updates. Training (and snacks!) are provided.

Opportunity Requirements:
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
