Detrash Portland: Celebrating Spooky Season at Darcelle XV Plaza!

Join SOLVE for a community-wide litter cleanup event aimed at beautifying our neighborhoods and celebrating spooky season at Darcelle XV Plaza. This cleanup will take place alongside the farewell weekend for Wildwood: Follow the Crows 🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛
This event is part of our ongoing efforts to revitalize downtown through the Detrash Portland series.
Costumes optional but encouraged! 🎃
Darcelle XV Plaza is one of the first parks in the nation named in honor of a drag queen, celebrating the legacy of the legendary Darcelle XV and Portland’s deep commitment to inclusion and self-expression.
Advanced Registration: Is highly suggested but not required. Please sign up (green button below) ahead of time to guarantee your spot.
Meeting Location: We will meet at the Darcelle XV Plaza. Look for the SOLVE signs!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: All litter clean-up tools will be provided!
Restrooms: Restrooms will be available at various retail businesses, please plan accordingly.
Parking: Street parking available.
Transit: MAX Blue & Red line.
Accessibility: This area is accessible for folks with mobility concerns.
Translation Services: There will not be a Spanish speaker present at this event.
