Engage in relational conversation with neighbors in your community. These volunteers are highly relational and can get to the heart of the matter or know between the words the client is saying. Review and process applications. Walk with clients through the next steps by developing deeper relationships and asking in-depth questions.Sufficient use of computers and phone systems (training available).Strong interpersonal communication skills and exceptional telephone etiquette with the ability to work effectively with and respond to people from diverse cultures or backgrounds.Sufficient use of computers and phone systems (training available).Phone communications and standard office practices. We assist the noncrisis working poor, sometimes on the verge of being homeless, when they call, take information, and get back to them.
