Sundays in the park

Please join us in the park on Sunday morning. We need your help in keeping the invasive plants from taking over our trails and trees. We'll be grabbing the nasty species by the roots as they poke their invasive shoots above ground, threatening our new native plants. We will concentrate on keeping the recently planted and mulched areas invasive-free so the new plantings take hold and spread. The ivy is also quickly climbing the cedars and firs and we need your help in clipping it to keep the tree canopy alive. Bring your refillable water bottles and clippers and gloves if you have them. It will be slippery on the muddy slopes of the trail so please wear boots with good soles. We’ll have water for your bottles and snacks available.
