About Us:We empower girls and women to move from hopeless to hopeful!The Thaddeus Resource Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to restore HOPE, inspire GROWTH, and EMPOWER girls and women through education, life skill development, workforce training, and other supportive services.Description:The Hybrid Life Coach volunteer will help improve the lives of women, girls and families by providing advice/assistance with solving problems, and help others set/accomplish their goals. The volunteer will work at the donation center that strives to empower, educate, counsel, and inspire families and individuals to move from a place of dependence to living independently. Through guidance, the Hybrid Life Coach volunteer will have a great impact on the lives of those who seek the path to a brighter future and life. The position can be performed in combination of in-person and remote work.Time Commitment:Must be available to work minimum 5 hours per week VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSONMust be available for the following VIRTUAL weekly meetings:All Staff Meeting: Tuesdays 9-10 AM PSTPrograms Department Meeting: Tuesdays 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM (with 1 hour lunch between 12 PM - 1 PM)Must be able to commit to this 1-year volunteer opportunityResponsibilities:Provide support and adviceHelp others establish goalsHelp others achieve their goalsProvide adequate and constructive feedbackEncourage and motivate othersHelp others set prioritiesMonitor progress and find solutions to setbacksThe volunteer works primarily with low-income and homeless women/familiesRequirements:Experience as a life coach or in counseling preferredPossess strong personal integrity and ethical principlesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organization, problem-solving and multi-tasking skil
