Duties may include reading to or writing for the patient, sitting at a bedside, providing emotional support, companionship, helping with legacy projects, listening to music or going through old photos, and providing respite for their family members.This is a non-medical opportunity. Volunteer schedules are flexible and we train you for free! This opportunity may be of interest to individuals who are training in the psycho-social area of; social work, bereavement, spiritual counseling, nursing or you just have a heart to donate your time and talent to the hospice cause.COVID-19 considerations:Hand sanitation stations are offered throughout the office and at every work station. Temporal temperature checks are required at each door entry. Air purifiers present. Desks and work areas are spaced appropriately to ensure safe social distancing.
